Following the Prime Minister’s recent announcement, it is with heavy heart we must announce that Poulton Gala will not go ahead this year. As Poulton Gala is traditionally held on the first Saturday in June, we are unable to legally proceed with the event and ensure the safety of all participants as per current Government legislation and guidelines.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all once again in 2022.

Peter Drew, Chairman

Poulton Gala Committee

It is with great sadness that Poulton Gala Committee have decided to cancel this year’s Gala due to Covid-19.

We do not take this decision lightly, having considered all information available at the moment, including projections that indicate the timing of the peak of the virus and after taking advice from Wyre Council’s Safety Advisory Group, we believe it is the right thing to do at this difficult time.

Thank you to all who have supported us so far this year and we hope to see you all again next year on Saturday 5th June 2021.

If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via our Facebook page or through our contact form on the website.

Best regards, Poulton Gala Committee.

The Parade will finish in the Park and the crowning ceremony and subsequent entertainment will be held there.
We hope that the new venue will enhance the appeal of Poulton Gala. The Parade will still set up at the Civic Centre car park and leave at 12 noon.
The theme this year will be ’SPACE’ (as in outer space, moons, planets, rockets etc).
If you would like to take part in the parade then please fill out a registration form here.
Please also follow us on https://www.facebook.com/Poultongala/ and Twitter https://twitter.com/PoultonGala to keep up to date with what’s going on.
The Committee thank you for your valuable support in past years and hope that you will remain part of Poulton Gala this year and in the future. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
